Climate change is no longer a future concern for community leaders - it is already reshaping

the communities we serve. This free 90-minute online workshop explores why climate justice

and social justice are the same thing, and what climate-ready leadership looks like for not-

for-profit organisations working in social services, health, housing, and community

development. No environmental background needed, just a commitment to the people and

communities you work with.

About this workshop

Climate change is no longer someone else's problem or a distant risk to plan for one day. It is

already here - in the communities we serve, in the pressures on our organisations, and in the

decisions our leaders are being asked to make right now. For not-for-profit leaders, climate-

ready leadership is no longer optional. It is part of what it means to lead well.

The communities most affected by climate change are the same communities that face

housing insecurity, poverty, poor health outcomes, and social exclusion. That is not a

coincidence. It is why climate justice and social justice are the same thing, and why this

workshop is for leaders from across the sector, not just those working in the environment

space.
