Climate Network Meeting November 2025
Event description
Climate Network meeting: Climate action within community service organisations
This Climate Network meeting will explore how community service organisations are taking action to address climate change. How are organisations taking steps to reduce their emissions? How are they ensuring they can maintain operations while facing increasing pressures due to climate change? How can community organisations be involved in advocating for greater support for organisations to do this type of work?
During this meeting, attendees will hear from:
Jennifer Tobin from Your Community Health about efforts to address the organisation’s emissions
Elyse Anderson from Salvation Army about adoption of renewables and energy management
This meeting will be held online on Wednesday 19 November from 10-11:30am AEDT.
Presentations will be followed by an opportunity for discussion in breakout rooms. Attendees are more than welcome to join breakout room discussions to observe.
You don’t already have to be part of the Climate Network or be a VCOSS member to attend this meeting.
