Event description
All welcome - open invitation
The Rotary E-Club of Greater Sydney in conjunction with Virtual Vocational Change are hosting an interactive, one (1) hour, free Climate Pitch online workshop to help you understand climate change.
It will be presented using Zoom.
Sunday night, 30 March 2025 7.15pm for 7.30pm AEST (Sydney time).
We believe the fight against climate change is a global challenge. Greenhouse gases don’t stop at country borders, so reducing the quantity we emit is everyone’s responsibility.
The program?
1. Presentation on what climate change is, based on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPPC) Reports.
2. Interactive Q&A session to help answer your concerns and help connect with others.
3. Suggestions for actions we can take as individuals or as groups.
4. Don’t be overwhelmed – small steps can make a difference.
The presenters:
Mylene Turban, co-Country Coordinator of Fresk in Australia.
Mylene’s career began as a chemical engineer in solar energy and groundwater remediation before transitioning to sustainability consulting. Since May 2024, she has been leading environmental sustainability engagement at the University of New South Wales.
