Event description

“Clinical Governance Leadership – What Comes Next?”

This session is the 7th of 10 sessions in the 2022 series: The Future of Health and Social Care Industries. The aim of this series is to have industry experts present their views and experience of the future direction of health and social care environments from a managerial and leadership perspective.

In this seminar, 'Clinical Governance Leadership – What Comes Next?' we will hear from Dr Trish Bradd, Director of Patient Safety at the NSW Clinical Excellence Commission (CEC)

Dr Bradd will discuss current trends in clinical governance, the impact of the pandemic and future directions for development. The past few years have been challenging times for clinical governance and a lot has been learned from the experiences of care providers and vulnerable groups in the community. This session will address some of these issues and their implications for necessary developments in clinical governance policy and practice. Trish will participate in a short Q&A after her presentation.

Please note that this session will be delivered face-to-face but with a Zoom option available for those who cannot make it in person. This session will also be recorded and may be uploaded online.

This is a joint Centre for Health Services Management, School of Public Health and UTS Aspire event. UTS Aspire is a program of pan-university research development opportunities led by the Research Capability and Development Team.
