Clockwork Workshop Showing

Clockwork is a brand new musical written by young kiwi composers Sammy Hook and Harry Maxwell. The show was produced as a full concept album in September 2026, and is now being brought to the stage through a three-day workshop and showing of some of the music. The showing will feature 15 rangatahi performers and 6 songs.

The story brings to life the pieces of a cuckoo clock and follows the journey of Gearathan, a replacement piece who was built with a defect. Gearathan struggles to find his place in a world that wasn't designed for him. He befriends a spare part and the cuckoo bird as they fight against the personification of corrosion. 

The showing will start at 6:30pm and be approximately 45minutes.
