Closed Women's Circle
Event description
What is a Women's Circle?
According to a quick google:
A women's circle is a gathering where women come together to share, connect, and create a safe space for open communication, vulnerability, and mutual support.
What is a Closed Women’s Circle?
A closed Women’s Circle series is meeting with the same group of women over more than one circle, this series is 4 circles every six weeks between May and October. It is different from a one off circle, because over several circles you can really get to know not only yourself more but also women within your community. An opportunity to have some set aside time for you, your nourishment and vitality.
The group will stay the same throughout the Circle series, minus the odd time when someone may be away or have to cancel, there won’t be any new additions in the space over this time. This is important as it creates a space of familiarity and safety to really dive deep and sit with yourself and others. If you know you will miss a circle, I still recommend you come to the three that you can come too, I don't recommend missing more than that.
Who is this space for?
This Women’s Circle is for women of all ages (18+). You cannot be too old or too young for circle. I welcome all women from all walks of live and stages because I truly believe that we can ALL benefit from sitting with each other, connecting with each other and learning from each other.
This space is for the woman that is craving
- A sense of community
- Space to reflect
- Time to herself
- Laughter
- A hot cup of tea and afternoon tea she doesn’t have to share
- To feel rejuvenated and vital
- To be in a beautiful space without having to hurry or rush
- New friendships
- To skip over talking about fluff like the weather and the traffic, instead diving into the depths of what is truly there beneath the surface
If you’re wanting to come along, you needn’t have been to a circle before - I explain each part of the circle in detail and questions are always welcome.
What can I expect?
Circles are warm, welcoming, nourishing, laughter-filled, grounding and beautiful. They are a space for you to simply just be, however you currently are.
Imagine this…you’ll walk in to a beautiful brightly filled yoga studio to me asking if you’re open to a hug. You’ll accept or decline depending on how you’re feeling for the day and then you’ll step into the space.
There you’ll find 12 free yoga mats in a circle formation with a cushion on each one, waiting for you to pick your spot. In the middle of the circle there is an altar to centre the space with flowers, crystals and beautiful things. Something beautiful to look at while others are sharing or while you get used sharing parts of your story.
Together we’ll spend two hours sharing, journaling, meditating, reflecting, intention setting, tea sipping, eating yummy food and storytelling.

What is the intention of the space?
The intended transmission of this space is connection, clarity and a sense of returning to your authentic self. When we can gather and be fully seen by the people around us, it reminds us that we are welcome, needed and loved in the world. When we return to a space that stretches our comfort zone over time it can create mental resilience, more confidence and a more cemented sense of self. Women coming together also often ignites a sense of fun and light-heartedness.
What have past Circle attendees said?
Joined a women’s circle for the very first time and loved everything about it. I have never done anything like this before and I felt so at ease and no nerves at all. Sophie is so special and I have never felt so heard and so safe in a room full of strangers. I even got some tools to take away with me that are now printed and laminated at my work desk. These were shared during the circle when I asked if anyone had some thoughts on how I could tackle some t challenges I was facing. Can’t wait for more women’s circles ♥️

First time attending circle & it was the most incredible space - THANK YOU Sophie!! I went in nervous & unsure of what to expect but with an open mind/heart.Sophie’s guidance of the time spent was beautiful, patient & peaceful. I sunk into the experience & truly felt heard, accepted & safe!! This will become a regular practice for me going forward as my soul cup was truly filled.
