On Jan 1st, in keeping with tradition, CLOSET NYD is back for our seventh annual open-air, day-to-night party to bring in the New Year!

Join a packed dance floor of queers with a spritz in hand this time at Howler's sunny courtyard garden and bandroom.

Tickets from $33 inc gst + booking fee onsale from next Tue Nov 26 2024 at 9am AEST. 

In the last few years, CLOSET NYD has sold out well in advance so please book early to avoid disappointment.

CLOSET NYD is a day-to-night affair that welcomes the whole rainbow community and their friends.
- Strictly 18+. Please bring Photo ID.
- CLOSET will be held across the venue's courtyard Garden with a soundproofed aeroplane glass roof and Theatre, one of Melbourne's premier live music venues.
- Howler is a wheelchair accessible venue. If you have other questions about disability and access, please contact us directly via PM or email freddie@closetparty.com.au
- Be mindful there may be lights that may be hazardous to people with photosensitive conditions.
- We have a zero tolerance policy towards sexual harassment or sexual assault, any homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist or anti social behaviour. We reserve the right to refuse entry, and kick you out.
- If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable or unwell (or see someone who is), please contact our event staff or security for help.

- Ticket are on sale from Tue Nov 26 2025 at 9am AEST. CLOSET Subscribers will have access to an exclusive Presale on Mon Nov 25 2025.
- Door sales will be available, subject to capacity.
- Limited allocation of tickets will be reserved for First Nations people and people experiencing financial hardship. Please contact us directly via PM or email freddie@closetparty.com.au
- No refunds. No resale tickets will be accepted unless through Humanitix or Tixel.
