The Great Global Mend & Clothes Swap
Event description
Be part of a global movement for change while celebrating creativity, sustainability and community right here in Vincent!
Join us for the Great Global Mend, an unofficial world record attempt in textile repair happening across 16 Perth metropolitan councils. But thatโs not all. Alongside the record attempt, youโll enjoy a full day of activities that celebrate sustainable fashion: swap pre-loved clothes, learn practical repair and upcycling skills, and connect with a community of makers, menders, and eco-conscious fashion lovers.
You donโt need to join every activity - come for one, or stay for them all. Whether youโre a seasoned sewer, a keen knitter, or someone who has a favourite item in need of repair, this is your chance to show that sustainable fashion is the way forward.
