Clothes Swap & Slow Fashion Talk - November 2026

Refresh your wardrobe without buying new at our clothes swap. Bring up to eight (8) quality pre-loved items to exchange for something new to you, saving money and reducing waste.

If you drop your items off earlier during the drop-off window, you may also attend an optional short talk from Jenna Flood, a slow fashion advocate who shares practical tips for building an ethical wardrobe, avoiding fast fashion and spotting greenwashing. If you’re interested in attending the talk, please select this option when booking your ticket so we can plan seating accordingly. Please note, places are limited for this ticket type.

Time

10am to 11.30am is for drop off only.

10.30 - 11.30am is our slow fashion talk (ticket required)

11.30am to 12.30pm is your time to swap!

Eligibility

To participate you must drop clothes off at the allocated time. For each item you drop off you will receive a token which can then be used to select another item. A maximum of eight (8) items per person will be accepted. Please note, you only need one ticket per person. Each ticket allows you to bring up to 8 clothing items to swap.

What clothing will we accept?

• Adult-sized clothing (all genders)

• Clean, folded or pressed items 

• Good quality items with a long potential lifespan

• Items free of faults or with minor faults that are easy to repair (for example, a missing button)

The best items to swap are good quality garments that you once loved but are no longer your favourites or perhaps no longer fit you perfectly. This way, you’re giving them a second life with someone new who will treasure them.

Whatever you swap, please make sure you are emotionally detached from the item, as once it has been swapped you cannot change your mind.

What will we not accept?

• Kids/teen clothing

• Anything pilled, pongy or too far from perfect

• Undergarments

• Swimwear

• Tracksuits and activewear

Please note that we have quality screening processes at our events. Please do not bring low quality, pilled or dirty items. Any items left over after the event finishes are donated to a local charity.
