Clothes Swap & Presentation with 'The Style Counsellor' - City of Armadale

Join us for an early evening with 'The Style Counsellor' Ciara Lowe-Thiedeman, followed by a Care to Rewear Clothes Swap event, Ciara's first time presenting in Armadale.

This event marks Buy Nothing Month, a chance to celebrate the growing movement away from fast fashion and unnecessary consumption and to prove that looking and feeling good doesn't have to cost the planet, or your wallet.

Ciara Lowe-Thiedeman is a London-trained, award-winning personal stylist and owner of The Style Counsellor. A sustainability and mental-health activist, she's shaking up the world of sustainable personal style and changing lives all over Perth.

Ciara will teach you how to become sustainably stylish so you can buy less, buy better, look better, and do better. Hear her update on Spring/Summer 2026 trends and how to recreate them sustainably, and learn tips to dress trans-seasonally and get more out of what you already own.

With Australia now the second-highest consumer of textiles in the world, this is a great opportunity to learn how to make a real impact by rethinking and reducing textile waste.

Bring along the items from your wardrobe that you no longer wear which you are proud to pass on ,clothing, shoes and accessories all welcome.

Swap them for preloved, new-to-you items to refresh your wardrobe sustainably. Ciara will be on hand to guide you on your personal style journey as you shop the swap.

How the afternoon works:

🕟 4:30pm - 5:00pm: Presentation ticket holders arrive and drop off pre-loved items (up to 10 items, including clothing, shoes and accessories)

🎤 5:00pm - 6:00pm: Presentation with Ciara

👗 6:00pm - 6:30pm: Exclusive early swap access for Presentation + Early Swap ticket holders

🌍 6:30pm -7:30pm: Clothes swap opens to everyone. Swap Only ticket holders can drop off up to 5 items (including clothing, shoes and accessories) from 7:00pm.
