A Fitting Connection’s Clothing Swap with Purpose ~ Winter is not just an opportunity for you to update your wardrobe in a sustainable manner but also an opportunity to learn how to make smarter and more sustainable choices that benefit not only your wardrobe but also Mother Earth.
The team has purposefully designed the event so you go home with a better understanding of not only what to look for when buying garments but also a better understanding of how to buy for your body shape and coloring to really build a sustainable wardrobe that is not only sustainable but also flattering.
What to expect

- Colour and Styling expert - Alison de Boer|Science of Style
* Styling Competition including a mini fashion parade
* Auction of styled outfits
* Clothing suitable for Winter
* Easy to identify a system to help choose the most sustainable pieces.
* Leftover garments sorted in 3 categories
- Non-wearable - sent to After and/or Upparel
- Wearable - Charity donation
- The most sustainable items kept for the next Clothing Swap with Purpose
If that wasn't enough any profits from the event will go towards funding local schools to take part in Fundraising with Purpose. Another great program to help redivert texiles from landfill and educate our community about purposeful ownership.
