Clothing Swap with the Feelgood Fashionista
Description
Refresh your wardrobe for summer without the spend!
Featuring guest presenter and stylist Loraine Martin the Feelgood Fashionista, our clothing swap is the perfect place to get that new-clothes feeling without the waste. Bring your quality unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories and swap them for new-to-you items that you'll love to wear.
Loraine will answer your questions about textile waste and the circular fashion economy and share how you can build a sustainable wardrobe that works for you.
Volunteers from Repair Lab will also be on hand to help you mend your clothing items with rips, holes or missing buttons, so they can stay in your life for longer.

How it works:
1) Once you've got your ticket, take a look through your cupboards to find any good quality clothes, shoes and accessories you no longer wear to bring to the swap. You can also bring items with rips, holes or missing buttons to be mended by Repair Lab.
2) Join us at Solaris Cancer Care Op Shop from 9.30am on the day to give your items to our fabulous volunteers, who will weigh and sort them ready for the swap. You can also drop off your items ahead of time at one of our collection boxes, located at The Grove Library and Community Centre and Subiaco Library.
3) Have a seat in the hall while the volunteers are sorting.
4) Sit back, relax, and learn about creating your sustainable wardrobe with Loraine the Feelgood Fashionista.
5) After the presentation, it's time to move out to the swap area and take your time browsing the clothing racks until 1.00pm.
