Cloud Nine Life Drawing

Event description

Life drawing but not as you know it!

About CLOUD NINE
Cloud Nine is a life drawing event where the model poses with an aerial apparatus. The evening opens with a performance which showcases the apparatus in motion, followed by a series of static poses for the artist to draw. The static poses range between 2 minutes and 20 minutes and are interspersed with enough breaks to give the artists a chance to have a stretch, to top up their (BYO) beverage, and to soak in the vibes.

About our performer
For this edition of CLOUD NINE we are joined by EM JADE. EM is an art model and aerialist who enjoys spending her time spinning upside down in rope and aerial hoop. Em welcomes you to witness her debut performance on aerial chains and to share her delight in this chaotic new way of hanging upside down.

About our venue
Shibari Sydney at 10A Carrington Road Marrickville is the home of CLOUD NINE Aerial Life Drawing. Shibari Sydney is a welcoming community which runs rope classes and events. It has plenty of rigging points which makes it the perfect space for CLOUD NINE performers to model on their preferred apparatus, such as aerial hoop, aerial hammock, and chains.
