Club Connect - Gender Diversity in Sporting Clubs Workshop

Join us for a thought-provoking and interactive workshop focused on fostering gender diversity and inclusion in sporting clubs. This session is designed specifically for sporting clubs in the Town of Victoria Park and aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to create more inclusive, supportive environments for gender-diverse individuals.

• Understand key gender diversity concepts and the barriers faced by gender-diverse people in sports.
• Recognise the benefits of inclusive sporting environments.
• Identify practical steps to foster gender inclusion in their clubs.
• Respond appropriately to gender diversity issues in sporting clubs.
• How to create an inclusive environment for LGBTIQA+ people in sporting clubs.
• Questions and answers (you get to ask any burning questions in a judgement-free space).
