We invite every beetle, moth, bee, termite and anything else with a craving for pollen and 4+ legs (or slimy little squish bodies) to buzz, flutter, crawl and squirm your way to the flappa and SHAKE YOUR BUG-USSY !! 

Expect SILLY VIBES, DJS and DRAG that will lure you to the dancefloor like a moth to a lamp, a dank CRITTER CRAFT CORNER, the “BIG-SKY TINY-BUG” low-stim zone, and the CUNTIFYING CHRYSALIS for all your buggy beauty needs

Club Silly would like to acknowledge this event has been organised and will take place on stolen Whadjuk Noongar boodjar. We pay our respects to Elders past and present; and acknowledge the fierce queer mob, Sistergirls and Brotherboys in Boorloo and around the country who have led and continue to lead the fight for collective change. We are grateful that we get to share this creative space with community, connect and move our bodies together on what always was and always will be, Aboriginal Land. ⭑ ENTRY: The main entrance to the venue is accessible. The door to the venue isn't automatic, but is kept open at all times. There is clear lighting outside the venue entrance and venue staff will be available at the door to assist patrons with entry. If waiting in the entry queue is not compatible with your accessibility needs, let the door staff know and they will let you skip the queue.

⭑ PARKING/DROP OFF: There is no designated parking available at this venue. The closest parking is street parking or CPP. Best drop off spot is on William Street.

⭑ Companion Card holders can attend free (+free entry for carer/support worker)

⭑ TOILETS: There is 1 all gender accessible bathroom, all-gender toilets with urinals and all-gender toilet with no urinals. Use the toilet makes you feel most comfortable.

⭑ SEATING: stools, chairs with backs, 1 soft couch, cushions on the floor, wooden benches using the wall as backrest.

⭑ LIGHTING/EFFECTS: Low-intensity visual effects. No white strobes. Warm dim lighting inside. Smoke machine used outside occasionally.

⭑ WARM-UP HOUR: There will be no warm up hour prior to this event; HOWEVER the venue will be open to the public from 3pm. You can come get comfy in the space anytime you like.

⭑ DANCE FLOOR ACCESSIBILITY: The dance floor will be located in the courtyard. The lower section of the courtyard is wheelchair accessible; however the upper-courtyard is not. 

⭑ LOW-STIM CHILL AREA: The back carpark will be a chill area for you to take a break from the event. There will be big open sky, neutral lighting, comfy seating, no speakers and craft activities. There will be noise bleed from the courtyard.

⭑ SMOKERS AREA: No smoking or vaping will be allowed inside the venue but the courtyard and back carpark is a smoking and vaping area. 

⭑ SCENTS: While we can’t guarantee the event will be scent-free, we discourage attendees from wearing perfumes, colognes, aftershave, soaps or other products with strong scents.

⭑ AUSLAN: The event will not be Auslan interpreted

⭑ SUPPLY STATION: Inside next to the bar will be free goodies like ear plugs, sensory toys, condoms, phone charging station, panadol, lollipops, gum, tampons etc. (take what you need, leave what you don’t).

⭑ IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE: event helpers will be identifiable with fluro yellow arm bands.
