Positive Behaviour Strategies That Maximise Learning with Sarah Pavy
Description
Positive Behaviour Strategies That Maximise Learning is a highly practical and interactive online workshop designed specifically for community language teachers.
Facilitated by Sarah Pavy, this session aims to equip community language teachers with simple, effective strategies to create calm, focused and engaging learning environments.
Designed specifically for the realities of community language schools, the session will focus on managing everyday classroom behaviours through consistent routines, approaches to classroom language and dynamics, and proactive teaching practices.
Teachers will have the opportunity to discuss their own specific challenges as well as to plan for future classes with clear, structured approaches to managing behaviour positively and encouraging student engagement.
The aim is for teachers to leave with strategies they can implement immediately, regardless of limited teaching time, mixed-age or mixed-ability classes, or minimal classroom support.
