Event description

Discover our lakes, sinkholes & volcanoes & the magic deliciousness of Scroll Queen as we drive on to explore the iconic ‘Feasts Classic Car Collection & Memorabilia Museum’ before lunch at ‘The Apple Farm.’

Starting at 9am- We'll drive around the Blue Lake, down to the Valley Lakes before quickly grabbing some local famous sweet & savory scrolls from our friends at Scroll Queen.

Our first stop will be at Little Blue, a volcanic sinkhole, where we disembark for morning tea. This is a good opportunity for stretch the legs and a photo opportunity at local favourite summer swimming hole.

Then onto the Feast’s Private Classic Car Collection & Memorabilia. This is a popular attraction for vintage car enthusiasts visiting South Australia. More than just vintage cars, this museum also houses a number of quirky and unconventional attractions.

Then onto our next destination, we will drive around the 150ha state heritage site of Mt Schank, a slightly older dormant volcano than Mount Gambier, that last erupted 4500 yrs ago.

Then its lunch time at The Apple Farm. A delicious little lunch box of sandwiches, fruit and something sweet. We’ll also include a small glass of wine, beer or cup of coffee.

There will also be produce and goodies for sale, gardens to stroll around and chicken to feed.

Back to the rally by 230pm.

Thank you for joining us on a journey to discover the natural beauty of our region. These tours have been made possible thanks to the District Council of Grant and Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce.
