Try your hand at CNC with the MKRS CNC Taster course!
This two-day beginner course is perfect for students, makers, and tradespeople
looking to upskill or explore something new. You’ll learn the basics of CAD, CAM,
and CNC machining — and see how your on-screen ideas can become real-world
parts.
Day 1 - Insight into the basics of CNC setup, programming and machining.
Practical programming and G-code exercises
Day 2 - Review the CAM and g-code created for your part, and support its
manufacture on a 3-axis CNC mill with a qualified technician.
Included in the course: Industry expert support, materials for machining, CNC
machine access, and lunch on both days.
BYO: A laptop with a 3D design software installed. (We suggest Fusion360,
OnShape, Solidworks)
