Co-Create: A Creative Night Out
All You Need to Know
Co-Create is an unforgettable evening of collaborative art and wellness in Mount Maunganui. Imagine mediation, art workshop and a night out all rolled into one evening!
You might be;
The person who bought the watercolour set in January and it's still in the packaging (oopsie!)
Someone who says "I used to paint" like it's a past life
Craving a Saturday night that isn't just vinos and a debrief about work
Tired of scrolling other people's creative reels instead of making your own!
You've started and abandoned more creative projects than you'd like to admit, because it never felt "right"
Wanting to meet real humans in your own community, not just double-tapping their lives online.
Please remember this: You were born creative. Your creativity never left; it just got put down somewhere between school and "being sensible". And at Co-Create we are going to pick it back up. Woop woop!!
Co-Create is perfect for you if;
You keep saying "I'll do that when things calm down" (they never calm down)
You'd love to make something with your hands and not immediately judge it
You're craving connection that isn't small talk at the bar
You want to paint without your inner critic backseat driving the whole time
You have a group of friends/flatmates/family and want to create something meaningful to celebrate your connection!
If you nodded along to any of that, here's what to expect when you walk through the door ๐๐ผ
Your Co-Create evening includes;
A grounding meditation to connect to your creative inspiration
Collaborative canvas painting - details to be revealed at the event ๐คซ
All paints and materials
Amazing tunes
Non-alcoholic elixirs
Delicious snacks
Real humans in the same room
Your own piece of the collaborative canvas to take home
PLUS my Intro to Intuitive Art E-Book for whenever you want to pick the paintbrush back up again!
Walking in, you might feel a little nervous or unsure what you are getting yourself into. Walking out, you'll feel lighter. Proud of something you made with your own hands. And a tonne more like yourself when you arrived.
And however you choose to show up, I've got you covered;
Bring your people. Flatmates, besties, sisters, brothers! Tables are made for groups of 4. Bring a friend or come as a group of four. You'll save $$$ at checkout and share a canvas from start to finish.
Coming solo? That works too! And most people do come alone. The best thing about these events is that you always meet who you are supposed to meet, let serendipity do it's thing.
What my clients are saying:
"I didn't trust my creativity as much beforehand. Now I have more trust that I get to create whatever wants to be created and it's all ok." โ Nadia B.

Meet Your Host

Hey, I'm Tineke. The person behind Co-Create.
My path here wasn't a straight line. I started with a biology degree, spent years as a tech corporate leader, and somewhere along the way realised the version of "success" I'd been chasing wasn't actually mine. These days, I'm an intuitive healer and artist, and honestly, it's the most me I've ever felt
I trained for years, learning to paint "properly". This looked like technical, careful, perfect portraits and a frustrated me that could "never get it right". This is because it never quite fit me. I was creating from my head, not my heart. What did fit was trusting my own way of creating, and I've since spent 4+ years reclaiming who I am. Now, as an intuitive healer and mentor, I teach women to open to their intuition and their own way of being and creating.
I have been sharing intuitive art methods in in-person workshops in Kerikeri, Whangarei and Auckland. As well as teaching online intuitive art classes for over 2 years.
Co-Create is simply an extension of all of that ~ less about teaching you how to create, more about permitting you to just create, alongside people in your own community.
Come as you are. Leave with something you made together, and with more trust in your own creativity too.
FAQs
- Do I need any art experience?
None at all. This isn't about skill or technique, it's about letting go and creating freely. Whether you haven't picked up a paintbrush since school or you paint every week, you're welcome here.
- What should I wear?
Something a little fun, and you don't mind getting a little paint on. Aprons aren't provided, so a layer you can throw on top is your best bet.
- I'm worried about coming on my own - I won't know anyone!
Most people will be here riding solo! You'll be seated with others from the moment you arrive, so there's no awkward walking-in-alone moment.
- Can I book with friends or flatmates?
Yes! Tables seat 4, so it's a great one for flatmates, besties, or sisters to book together and share the experience.
- What's actually involved in the workshop?
I don't want to give too much away... half the fun is not knowing exactly what's coming. What we can tell you: it's collaborative, it's guided, and you won't need to plan or prepare anything beyond showing up.
- What's included in the $88?
Your 2-hour workshop, all paints and materials, a canvas to take home, non-alcoholic elixirs, snacks, and your BONUS: Intro to Intuitive Art E-Book.
- Is there alcohol?
No โ this is a night out that doesn't revolve around drinking. We've got non-alcoholic elixirs and good tunes to set the mood instead.
- What if I need to cancel?
All ticket sales are final. If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to transfer your spot to someone else โ just let us know who's coming in your place.
- Do I get to take my art home?
Yes! One part of your table's collaborative canvas is yours to keep as a memento of the evening.
- Where do I park? How do I find you?
Shop 5A/169 Maunganui Road - entrance from Shadelands Lane. You can park anywhere in the car park!
- How does the deposit work?
Your ticket is secured with a 50% deposit today. The remaining 50% is due one week before the event, and I'll send you a reminder before then. It's a simple way to spread the cost, and it means your spot is held without needing to pay the full amount upfront.
