Co-curricular activities for Term 2, 2024

Event description

Preparatory School Years 1 to 6 co-curricular activities - Term 2 2024

Booking links open: Tuesday 26 March at 4.00pm. For students to participate in an activity, they must be booked in.

Booking links close: Thursday 18 April at 9.00am, prior to the commencement of the activities in Week 2.

How many activities can I enrol my son/s in?
All students will be allowed to enrol into one activity that has no cost involved. Students can also enrol in multiple activities run by external providers (these will incur a fee), if desired.

How long do the Term 2 co-curricular activities run for?
All clubs run for the duration of Term 2, commencing in Week 2 and conclude in Week 10 (inclusive), unless specified. Please refer to the below information for the duration of each club.

Who can I make bookings for?
Bookings can only be made by parents or guardians. Parents can only make bookings for their children, not for other students

What do I need to do before making a booking?
Please ensure you double check your son’s after school commitments and the year group of the activity before booking him into a co-curricular club. To avoid a clash with your son’s sport training commitments, please refer to Year 5 and 6 sport training days table below. Before booking, ensure you have enrolled your son in the correct year group for the activity to avoid any issues with his booking. Please also have a conversation with your son before booking to ensure he wants to participate in the activity to avoid cancellation and other students missing out on a club they are interested in.

I've booked my son/s into an activity, what's next?
Once you have completed the booking, please check that you have received an email with a booking confirmation from Humanitix, as this will ensure you have successfully booked your son/s into the co-curricular activity.

I've made an error in my son's FREE activity registration and need to cancel. What do I do?
If you've noticed a timetable clash in your son's booking, please email prepstudiesoffice@ccgs.wa.edu.au and his place will be offered to the next student on the waitlist. The waitlist is only valid for the current term. Please ensure that you and your son are happy with his selection, as requests to change activities based on change of mind cause inconvenience for our Prep Studies Office and result in other students missing out on activities.

Can I get a refund if I want to cancel a booking with an external provider?
Please be aware that refunds cannot be offered for any paid clubs once you have booked a place for your son/s. This includes any activities booked directly through external providers and paid activities that are charged to your son's school account.

My son can't attend one of his co-curricular activities - who do I notify of his absence?
If your son is unable to attend his regular co-curricular activity, please email prepabsentees@ccgs.wa.edu.au. Your email will be sent to the teacher taking the roll call for the activity and it will alleviate a phone call to parents/guardians seeking his whereabouts.

What do I need to pack for my son/s for their activities?
Please ensure you pack a snack and water bottle for your son/s to have after school. Ensure you are aware of any special requirements for each club when booking your son into an activity.

Note for Year 1 parents: Please pack afternoon tea in a separate labelled container. This will ensure that boys know what is to be left in their bag to eat for afternoon tea while they wait for their club to start.

Where do I collect my son/s after his activity?
When booking into a club you will be asked to specify how your son will be collected after the activity. Please be prompt when collecting your son from the roundabout after the specified finishing time of the activity. Boys not collected on time may be excluded from attending future sessions. At the conclusion of Bricks 4 Kidz, your son will be waiting at the white umbrellas for collection (near Pinocchio).
