There is increasing opportunity for people with lived experience of disability to participate in co-design opportunities. To participate fully and confidently in co-design it is important to have a broad understanding of co-design and to know how to contribute.
About the topic
This face-to-face, interactive workshop will provide people with lived experience of disability with the opportunity to build their knowledge of co-design as well as their skills and confidence.

About the Presenter/s:
This face-to-face workshop will be delivered by CRU facilitators who are family members of people with disability and who are passionate about inclusive lives for people with disability.
Who Should Attend?
This workshop is designed for family members. If you are a person with disability who would like to participate, please contact CRU or QDN to let us know you're interested.
Learning Objectives
As a result of attending this workshop attendees will:
be clear about what co-design is and isn’t
know why co-design is needed
have an increased awareness of the roles and responsibilities of people commonly involved in co-design processes
feel confident, empowered and equipped to contribute as a co-designer
