Co-Design Workshop for Youth Social Prescribing
Event description
Crestmead PCYC (along with 9 other locations throughout Queensland) has been funded to develop a Youth Social Prescribing program that will work as an early intervention to address loneliness and social isolation. The program will target youth and families in Logan and will connect participants to groups and activities that are meaningful to them (and fun too!).
The first step of the development process is to invite people from the Logan community to participate in a co-design workshop with us.
If you are a parent or carer of a child under the age of 18. a young person yourself, or you work with these groups, we would love to have you join us!
During the workshop we will explain what social prescribing is and what our program hopes to accomplish. Then we will get your help to map our community's strengths, identify service gaps, and brainstorm ways to make our social prescribing program as accessible and easy to use as possible.
To thank you for your participation we will provide morning tea, and community members (who are not joining us from another organisation or service) who attend will also receive a small thankyou gift in appreciation.
