Training overview
This interactive training day explores core governance principles using real examples from co-operatives. You’ll leave with practical materials that your board can use for ongoing refreshers, and Federation members receive long-term support.
You’ll also connect with others in the co-op space. These sessions often spark lasting bonds and help strengthen the sector through shared learning.
Presenter: Molly Kendall
Molly’s experience in co-operative governance began through academic study. Her governance passion developed during seven years at Resource Work Cooperative and has deepened through four years as Business Development Officer at The Co-op Federation. She’s worked with hundreds of co-ops of all sizes and sectors, sharing practical, people-focused tools to build strong boards.
Venue: Millarri Murnmut
Our workshop will be held in Millarri Murnmut, a beautiful rooftop space on Level 5 of the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre. With city views and a relaxed feel, it’s a great spot for learning and connecting. The venue is fully accessible.
