Coal Coast Band: Beat the Burn

For 20years, Beat The Burn has become a multi-event campaign that operates all year round to raise funds, share prevention messages and spread awareness for kids with life changing burns. 

Run by NSW Fire fighters, through their hard work and dedication, they have raised over $1,350,000 for the Burns Unit at The Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Coal Coast Band want to help this important cause and rock the roof off the Heritage Hotel in support of Beat the Burn and all the kids who have suffered burn injuries. Singer, Songwriter and former Idol star Emily Markham is keen to get behind such a great cause and will support the event so get there early for her beautiful country style rock.

The funds raised are utilised by the Burns Unit to conduct research and purchase expensive equipment. These additional funds ensure that young burns survivors have access to the latest techniques in pain and scar management, and their families are given the support they require during these difficult times.
