Come along to the opening night of The Peninsula Art Groups annual show at the Asylum, Port Arthur Historic Site.
The Peninsula Art Group draws their inspiration from the Tasman’s natural environment, and this year’s exhibition provides the viewer with an insightful exploration of the Coal Mines Historic Site and the wider Tasman landscape.
Meeting fortnightly, this accomplished group of artists come together to convey their love of nature, the landscape, our waterways and history.
This selection of paintings and sculptural works use a variety of mediums and contemporary techniques to intimately convey the Coal Mines Historic Site and beyond.
