Coastal Erosion

Hear from a Geographer who for the last 10 years has been a presenter with the South Gippsland Conservation Society education program based at Inverloch. Over this time, Aileen has been recording profound changes to the Inverloch coastline, identifying natural processes and the contribution of climate change. 

Aileen’s presentation will show the extent of changes and management strategies put in place and focus on a recent weather event during which about 60,000m3 of sand was lost from the Inverloch surf beach.
