Join us for a guided walk along the beautiful Coogee coastline with Cockburn Coastcare champion Craig Wilson and Perth NRM's Kate Sputore.
Explore the unique plants, wildlife and natural landscapes that make Cockburn's coastal dunes so special. Along the way, you'll discover how native species have adapted to thrive in one of Australia's most dynamic environments, learn about the important role dunes play in protecting our coastline, and gain a deeper appreciation of the challenges and opportunities involved in conserving these valuable ecosystems.
Whether you're a nature lover, local resident or simply keen to learn more about your coastal backyard, this walk is a great opportunity to connect with nature and uncover the hidden biodiversity of the Cockburn coast.

Walk information
Please note: The walk will cover approximately 2-3 km across soft and uneven terrain. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle. The walk will still go ahead if light rain or showers are forecasted, so please bring a raincoat as the weather along the coast changes quickly.
