Teacher professional development and student leadership program

You're invited to a webinar information session to learn how this program can support your primary school to introduce and develop entrepreneurship with your students. Young Change Agent's educators in residence, Dr Renae Jones (National) and Mia Pinnington (Primary), lead this interactive session that will give you the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other educators who are interested in the program.

About CoCreatED:

CoCreatED uses the Young Change Agent Discovery Program and an innovative delivery model, to develop primary school students' social entrepreneurship mindset, design thinking skills, innovation, and 21st-century skills. Teachers gain confidence to facilitate the program; to create a social enterprise that addresses a challenge within their local community, with the help of student leaders back at their school.

The CocreateED program is an exciting opportunity for primary schools to participate in an engaging and empowering initiative designed specifically for teachers and yr 5/6 students. Delivered by Young Change Agents, this program aims to boost student leadership and entrepreneurship education in your school. 

Participating schools are required to commit to all components of the program including:

  • Virtual information session and kick-off webinar
  • Full-day design thinking entrepreneurial challenge (host location TBA)
  • Delivery of the entrepreneurial program at your school (four weeks to deliver)
  • Half-day tradeshow and pitch event to showcase most impactful ideas (host location TBA)

Program Inclusions:

  • Immersion and development of critical skills in design thinking entrepreneurship
    • Immersion and development of critical skills in design thinking entrepreneurship
    • Development of student leadership skills and potential
    • Opportunities to work with and learn from Young Change Agents facilitators and educators-in-residence

    • Increased confidence and inspiration to pursue innovative teaching and learning solutions

    • Professional development for educators and students (design thinking workshop)
    • All program resources including slide deck, facilitator guide, and worksheets to facilitate the program at school
    • Educator access to Entrepreneurial Learning Hub, with 3 hours of additional learning modules
    • Impact reporting for each school to show the impact of the program
    • Expert panel for student feedback at Pitch Event
    • Join the E3 - Entrepreneurial Education Exchange Community of Practice

Eligibility:

  • The program is open to primary schools in SE Queensland

  • Cost $500 per school (invoiced after completing a booking form)

This information session kicks off the program with detailed information and networking with other educators who will be participating.
