Code Savvy Open House

Since 2013, Code Savvy has been working to open doors to computer science for young people across Minnesota. None of that happens without our mentors and volunteers. They are the heart of every program we run, and this evening is our chance to say thank you and to welcome new faces into the community.

Whether you have been a mentor for years, you have been curious about getting involved but were not sure it was for you, or you are hearing about Code Savvy for the first time, this event is for you!

Come for:

• Appetizers and a drink on us

• Conversation with mentors, volunteers, staff, and board members who love what they do

• A chance to learn about our programs, including Technovation Girls Minnesota, Code Explorers, and Byte-Sized Challenge

• Information on how to get involved as a mentor or volunteer, no tech background required!

Know a parent looking for free STEM programming for their child, a teacher looking for free CS curriculum, or a friend who cares about getting more youth into tech? Bring them along. The more people in the room, the stronger our community gets!
