Coffee & Claytime Workshop

At Grounded By Designs, we’re all about taking time to connect and create.
Located within MOA & co a conscious marketplace in Carrington, our studio is a calm, welcoming space to slow down, sip something warm, and shape something by hand.

The intention

Join Myf for a relaxed morning where the focus is on simple pleasures – a good cuppa, a quiet space to unwind, and the joy of working with clay. You’re welcome to bring your own favourite drink, and I’ll have tea, coffee and light snacks ready for you to enjoy.

What to expect

We’ll start the session by making a simple, functional piece together – it might be a cup, bowl or small vase. I’ll guide you through the basic techniques, like pinch potting and attaching a handle or foot. Once you’ve made your first piece, you’ll have time to keep going, experiment, or create something completely different.

All tools, materials and plenty of clay are provided – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play.

Once finished

You can select up to three pieces to be glazed and fired. These will be ready for collection in about four to six weeks.

If your pieces aren’t quite what you’d imagined, that’s completely okay – you’ll receive a $40 credit to use in-store or towards a future workshop.

It’s all about the process, not perfection.

Investment:

• Claytime: $120 each includes coffee, tea, snacks (gluten-free options available on request), clay experience, and up to 3 pieces glazed and fired or credit to spend in-store at Grounded By Designs or to go towards your next workshop with us.

• Playtime: $80 each includes coffee, tea, snacks (gluten-free options available on request), and clay experience without firing any pieces.
