Want more women in your life but not quite sure where adults are supposed to make new friends?

Coffee & Connect is a women only morning designed to make that part easier.

WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT

You will not be left to find your own way into a group.

A host wearing a Sisterhood shirt, usually pink, is watching for you when you arrive and will introduce you to a few women before you have time to wonder where you should stand.

Because walking in alone is usually the hardest part. That is the part we handle.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE MORNING

We meet at Velvet Lounge from 6:30am.

We loved our first Coffee & Connect here so much that we’re coming back for round two.

Introductions first, then you grab a coffee, which is included in your ticket.

This one is a sit down, so we stay put and actually talk. No walking, no rushing. We’ll keep the conversations moving so you have the chance to meet more than one person.

We finish at 8:00am, so you’re on with the rest of your Friday.

WHO COMES TO THIS

Women of all ages and stages, though most are somewhere between 25 and 40. Plenty are new to the Gold Coast, back after time away, working from home and missing connection, or simply in a season where they want to expand their circle.

Most book on their own.

If that is you, you will be in very good company.

ABOUT THE SISTERHOOD MOVEMENT

We are a Gold Coast womens community bringing women together through movement, connection and shared experiences, so that no woman ever feels alone. Over 700 events and 7500+ women later, we run Coffee & Connect mornings across the Gold Coast and Brisbane, alongside Breathe by the Beach, Run Club, Dinner Dates, hikes and a business series for women in business.

This is not a one off. Our Coffee & Connect mornings happen regularly, which means the woman you meet this Friday could be sitting across from you again next week.
