Coffee and getting your first job in the hospitality industry

In collaboration with the amazing City of Armadale we are proud to offer a free coffee education session designed for young people AGED 15-25 in the local area looking to learn more about the coffee industry as a whole and what employers and job pathways can come out of the awesome product of coffee!!

The course will focus on the below modules to help give young people a greater well rounded veiw of employment in the industry and what it takes to make coffee into a great product.

Participants will undertake 5 modules

1. A greater understanding of the coffee industry as a whole and ALL that goes into making
coffee

2. The coffee roasting process and how a coffee bean is roasted and what impacts final cup
flavour and attributes

3. An understanding of the espresso making process and its intricacies and how to
manipulate flavour in coffee

4. An understanding of the hospitality workplace and business practices and how
understanding and knowledge impact employability and suitability

5. How to work on your customer service and get your first job !
