This is a special edition of Coffee & Jam as we welcome back Mike Hart - CEO of Sierra Energy - a US-based startup that raised $33m USD late last year to develop their waste to energy gasifier technology. This disruptive technology takes virtually any type of human-generated waste and converts it into gas that can power communities.
Mike is back in New Zealand as a visiting Edmund Hilary Fellow and will be introduced by Huia Lambie, Connector at Edmund Hillary Fellowship.
This is Mike’s second Coffee and Jam. On the agenda is his take on the global waste problem, Sierra’s technology, and an update on Sierra’s vision for making NZ the first zero-waste country in the world!
