Coffee Skills- Workforce Readiness Series

Join us at North Albany Senior High School for a hands-on 3-hour workshop designed to help you perfect the art of making coffee. Whether you're a budding barista or would like step into a career in hospitality, this interactive session will equip you with the essential skills to consistently craft delicious coffee. 

This small-group workshop keeps the theory light and the practical experience high—because the best way to learn is by getting behind the machine! 

This is the perfect opportunity to learn and refine your coffee-making skills in a relaxed and fun environment. 

Attendees will learn:  

• The specialty coffee journey 

• Tools of the trade 

• Extraction diagnosis 

• Controlling the variables 

• Grinder management 

• Stretching that milk 

• Building beverages 

• Cleaning and maintenance 

Includes course notes, all the coffee you can drink and a bag of our local roast to take home.  

This course delivered by North Albany Senior High School, coordinated in partnership by the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry (RCCIWA), and Tourism WA as part of the Tourism WA Workforce Development Program.  

This course is made even more accessible through subsidised funding from Tourism WA.
