Coffees, Cameras & Chats with The Darkroom Social
Event description
Join us on Sunday 6th April at Freshwater Brewing Company for our Coffees, Cameras & Chats workshop!
We will begin with some demonstrations and chat about different analogue camera sizes, styles and formats.
We will introduce connections between coffee and analogue photography, looking at how coffee and coffee waste can be used in place of traditional photographic developers. We will also demonstrate how you can make your own eco developer using instant coffee or espresso to process film.
After being shown how to operate a large format view camera, each participant will make a unique 4x5 paper negative (processed in used coffee grounds from the Freshwater Brewing Cafe!) on the day to take home.
Coffees will be provided during the session!
