Coffin Weaving - a weekend immersion Beechworth
Description
This is a weekend workshop dedicated to weaving, death, dying and grief. Together, we will weave a coffin &/or shroud carrier out of the invasive vine Cats Claw.
We will learn and share how, why and when - addressing your questions and curiosities around this practice and anything death, dying and grieving.
Some may chose to experience being shrouded and put into the woven vessel, but this is totally individual and not compulsory.
All materials & morning teas supplied. Bring your own lunch

Zimmi Forest will led the weaving of the Shroud Carrier, bringing her 30+ years of weaving experience and skills.
The Good2GoCollective will support and facilitate the weekend of learning, education and experiential components.
Please note: depending on numbers we will weave either a coffin or shroud carrier. All participants will be informed prior to the weekend.
