GREEN GIFTING AND GRATITUDE GATHERING
When: Tuesday 26 November, 4-6.30pm
Where: Nature Discovery Centre, North Coast Regional Botanic Garden (Hardacre Street at the corner of Coffs Street, Coff St, Coffs Harbour)
Come and join us for a relaxed and joyful end-of-year gathering focused on green gifting and gratitude!
Unwind, learn some new skills to reduce waste and connect with fellow passionate educators as we as we bid farewell to a wonderful year. We'll delve into eco-friendly gifting that sparks your creativity through a variety of engaging hands-on activities including rolling your own beeswax candles, the art of Furoshiki fabric wrapping using upcycled textiles and more. Be inspired to embrace the silly season with seriously sustainable ideas.
Held at the North Coast Regional Botanic Gardens at the brand new Nature Discovery Centre, you'll get a chance to hear about their education programs and explore this exciting new area which will include an outdoor learning space, with raised garden beds, wildlife attracting and edible native garden, compost and worm garden, weather station, yarning circle and nature play elements.
Local initiatives, events and story sharing
This event offers a wonderful chance to reflect on the past year, share inspiring stories of sustainability successes and you’ll leave with handmade treasures for yourself or loved ones—while giving our planet a big, green hug this holiday season!
Warm drinks and delicious afternoon tea will be provided.

The Sustainable Schools Network (SSN) is a collaborative partnership between Midwaste, the City of Coffs Harbour and Sustainable Schools NSW.
