Join us for another epic workshop at Edigrocer - this time we welcome Sophia for our first weaving workshop.

Introduction to Coiled Basketry 
with Sophia Georgiou— @twystedearth

In this workshop you will learn how to coil weave your own small basket or coaster using locally foraged plant material. 

You will be shown how to start, shape, and finish your piece using traditional methods that date back centuries. 

We will briefly go over plant identification, sustainable harvesting and preparation too. 

Weaving is a meditative practice that invites mindfulness through repetitive movement  — a gentle way to soothe your mind through your hands. 

All materials provided.
No experience necessary. 

You will leave with the skills and confidence to continue your coiled basketry journey at home.
