Event description

The Collective Liberation Ritual has been cancelled. Due to the escalation of violence in our home and the airspace closure, many of the Ripples team cannot come to Denver. We were very excited about sharing our delicate creation with you and holding space to process together. Inshallah we find more opportunities to do so.

(For those attending the full-day workshop on the 16th, it will still take place, though in a modified form)

For more information about Ripples Alliance, and for donations, see:

Ripples Collective is a group of Palestinian and Israeli non-violent activists, artists, and heart-led humans working together in connection, strength and love to embody another possibility. They represent the work of Ripples Alliance - a non-profit working with psychedelics to support collective healing and liberation between the river and the sea and beyond. This emerging collective knows each other through the astral planes – diving deep into ancestral wounds and flying high into prophetic hopes. They have seen another option, and they want to ripple it out.

The Collective brings together diverse voices for peace: Sulaiman Khatib (Palestinian peace activist from Ramallah; Souli's visa application was recently rejected and he will join online), Haneen (Palestinian peace activist from Gaza/Portugal), Noam Enbar (Israeli singer/peace activist from Israel), Marwan Halabi (Palestinian singer-songwriter from Israel), Leor Roseman (Israeli researcher from United Kingdom - University of Exeter / Imperial College London), Ayelet Yekutiel (Israeli dance artist / somatic practitioner from Israel), and Rawan (Palestinian Diaspora Singer/Songwriter, Facilitator & Artivist).

The Location:

Just ten minutes from the Convention Center in a vibrant neighborhood with some of the best restaurants in Denver.

The Performance / Ritual

We offer to hold space for a wide audience, which is partly a performance and partly a process. We are musicians, facilitators, educators, and peace activists. We call our performance a ritual – as we see it as a threshold place through which people can transform. We embody the dream but ground ourselves in the here and now – with all it brings. We work with the pain, the grief, the anger, and even the despair, and with the joy, vision, love, and hope. Grounded dreamers. By doing what we do, we succeed in inspiring others – to show that there is another way. We come from diverse places in Palestine (West Bank, Gaza, ‘48 and Diaspora) and Israel, coming together to find a shared message. It is not always easy, as we seek to be accurate when facing the violence.

The performance includes storytelling, facilitated processes, theatre, dance and music – and carries the audience through grief into solidarity and empowerment. It is a journey from separation to connection, feeling the collective pains to allow them to reveal a shared vision. Sitting in Circle, alchemising, with song, word, and movement, an alternative reality - nearly lost - for the land we come from and all its people.
