Event description
Join the wonderful Marilyn and Tara for a day of Collograph printmaking (inspiration by Jet James). You will work on PVC board with a collection of tapes, liquids and embossing media to build a textured collograph plate. The plates will be printed through the printing press.
All materials will be provided with the exception of paper, 1- 2 sheets required (Canson edition - purchase option available), alternatively bring your own printmaking paper for workshop use; requirements 280gsm. The tutors will provide the plate, all tapes, mediums and ink.
Need to bring:
inspirational simple ideas to create collograph
self-healing cutting mat
scissors and small cutting knife/blade tool
if you wish to experiment with printing on cloth; smooth washing and ironed fabric (old sheets can be used)
