June 25: Legislative Recap

Join us for Policy & Advocacy 101: Legislative Recap, a dynamic and accessible session led by the team at Salazar & Associates. This is your chance to get a clear picture of what passed (and what didn’t), issues that matter to you and your business and demystify the policymaking process.

July 22: Advocacy Starts with You: Understanding Public Policy as a Business Owner

August 13: The Legislative Process: How a Bill Becomes a Law

This course will guide you through each step, from bill introduction to final passage, and show you how to use tools like GBC’s bill tracker to stay informed and actively engaged with legislation that impacts your business and community.

September 16: Navigating the Capitol: Etiquette and Engagement

Learn the essential skills for interacting with legislators and making your voice heard at  the Capitol. This course will teach you how to find your legislative district, identify your  representatives, and prepare for your first one-on-one meeting with a legislator, ensuring  you approach the process with confidence.
