Columbine/Maytag History Hike & Bike
Description
Did you attend Under a Wild Sky and wish you knew more about the history of the area? Maybe you came to the lecture at the library, given by Todd McMahon, and want to imagine the history of the land laid out before you. Bike or hike your way around Columbine Open Space to learn more about its rich history and enjoy the changing of the seasons with others in the DLC community. Select whether you plan to bring a bike or would prefer to hike at checkout so we can plan accordingly. The bike ride will be moderate, up to 8 miles. The hike will be easy-moderate, under 3 miles.
DLC bike rides are offered free of charge, but a $10 per person donation is suggested so that we may continue to offer educational outreach events in the community.
