Combining Layers: The Urban Edition (6 weeks)
In this mixed media urban art course, you will learn to combine different materials and techniques to create a bold, street-inspired canvas. You will learn to develop a creative idea, conduct artist research and be taught a combination of artistic methods to create your own urban style, including:
- Designing & creating stamps with lino
- Painting, stencil art & building layers
- Collage techniques & mark making
Class dates:
Classes will run for 6 weeks from 8 May to 12 June:

- 22 May
- 29 May
- 5 June
- 12 June
Classes kick off at 1:00pm and finish by 3:30pm (including pack up).
Suitable for all levels. Adults & Teens welcome. All materials provided.

About the artist:
Carley O'Neil is a printmaker & mixed media artist from Western Australia. She is mostly self-taught and has also completed visual arts studies at South Regional TAFE in Margaret River, attended Albany Summer School and completed many other creative courses. Currently residing in Fremantle, WA, Carley is a resident at Stackwood Studios where she offers fun, engaging and educational lino print workshops from her private studio. Carley is generous with her time and knowledge and aims to uplift her students by communicating openly, providing constructive guidance and being everyone's hype girl!
