Northern Rivers Outrigger Club are offering free sessions of Outrigging over 2 weekends on our beautiful Richmond River Ballina.

19th October at 9.30-1130am

Dog Beach Ballina.

A great paddling community based in Ballina in Northern NSW. Northern Rivers Outrigger Club are diverse, we are a range of people with the common passion of getting on the water and having fun. We welcome new members any time through the year and have weekly novice sessions.

The Richmond Riverkeeper Association has emerged from the desperate need for new governance structures to address the state of the catchment and the 2022 floods to give the rivers of the Richmond River catchment a community voice.

Our Mission

To ensure the rivers of the Richmond River catchment are drinkable, swimmable and fishable again.

Our Vision

For the rivers, sub-catchments and tributaries of the Richmond River catchment to be healthy, ecologically sustainable, respected by policy and decision-makers, managed actively, and valued by the community.

We respect and celebrate the unique relationship of Indigenous peoples to the land and waterways of the Richmond River catchment and acknowledge this land was never ceded.
