Ever wondered what it would be like to play wheelchair basketball?

Join CPSN for 2 hours of basketball fun on the 12th of May at Eagle Stadium Werribee. No experience necessary

You don't have to be a wheelchair user to participate. A Basketball coach, training, and wheelchairs (adult sizes) will provided for you to use.

We’ll get a brief introduction on how to play, operate our chairs, and then have a friendly game.

There are only 14 chairs available, so don't delay in booking your spot today!

How to get there?

• Train: Catch the train from Flinders Street Station and get on The Werribee Train Line. (Platform 9) Get off at Werribee Station and walk about 350 metres to the bus stop at Manly Street

• Bus: It will take 11 minutes by bus from Werribee station. The closest stop is right out the front of the venue, Eagle Stadium. This bus is serviced by Route 190. There are low floor accessible buses running to and from Werribee Station from the stadium.

There is plenty of accessible parking outside the stadium. It's located approximately 8 minutes by car from Werribee station

What to Bring?

- Appropriate closed-toe comfortable footwear.

- Comfortable clothing/sports attire.

- Water Bottle or sweat towel & some snacks.

- There are also Accessible changing rooms and Changing Spaces facilities available on site.

Who is this event for?

This is an event for open to all abilities, this is a chance for everyone and anyone to try wheelchair basketball. You will be joined on the day by CPSN staff ready for a fun introduction into the  world of wheelchair basketball. You can attend as a Basketball Player (playing the game) or as a spectator (watching the game - best for parents or support workers who want to watch)

Registrations are open now until 1st May or when allocation is exhausted (so get in quick!)
