Event description

Come together in community with fellow Brooklynites for a very special evening and performance of "Come Sit With Me," a brand new show created in response to the war between Israel and Hamas.

Robbie Gringras and top Israeli musician, Adam Mader (usually seen performing with superband Teapacks), offer Come Sit With Me—their new show in which they perform Israeli songs whose meaning has changed forever in the wake of the war, tell Jewish stories that are now cast in a different light, and share anecdotes, observations and interpretations of a country in pain. Touching on trust, chutzpah, rage, togetherness, and humor, this show invites the audience to sit with the sadness and look towards the light.

One recent audience member shared of this after seeing the show “Hear the soul of Israel and the Jewish people at this moment reflected through songs and stories. It highlights the pain, and also the whole hearts, that so many of us are holding at this moment.

Doors open at 6:45pm | Performance begins at 7:00pm

Tickets are FREE and open to the community.  Best for ages 16 and up.

RSVPs in advance are required, photo IDs checked at the door. Security will be on premises.
