Event description

Last of the Year!! Lets make go out with a Bang!

Cameron James is an award-winning stand-up comedian, musician and storyteller across stages, screens, boomboxes and podcasts.

“Comedy gold” **** 1/2 stars - The Herald

“Comedy par excellence” **** 1/2 - The Age

Cam has won countless rave reviews for his completely unique “rockstar without a band” comedy style; blending songs as catchy as they are funny, painfully true stories and sharp improvisation.

In 2024, Cam partnered up with Aussie music legend Ben Lee’s indie record label to release his own comedy music, with his single “Medium D*ck” racking up tens of thousands of Spotify streams and over 9 million views on Instagram and YouTube.

“In a parallel universe, he’s a rock god” - Time Out

His most recent one hour solo shows, Electric Dreams and Mixtape have sold out around the country, earning him the Director’s Choice Award at Sydney Comedy Festival and a nomination for the highly coveted Most Outstanding Show Award at Melbourne Int. Comedy Festival.

Other awards include: Raw Comedy National Runner Up in 2012, multiple AWGIE Awards for Best Comedy Writing, and an APA Award for Best Entertainment Podcast.

“Cameron is a stunning, evocative storyteller… The laughs come thick and fast” - Squirrel Comed

Jackie Loeb
has performed in classical Australian TV shows Full Frontal and Good News Week. More recently, she has moved to America where she has brought the audience to thunderous gags in the Aspen Comedy Festival, NBC's Last Comic Standing and Hollywood Fringe.

“Definitely the pick of the crop was Jackie Loeb from Australia. Fearless with a psychotically sharp tongue, she is also blessed with a marvellous singing voice and it would be a crime not to see her again in this country in her own show.”  The Cape Times (South Africa)

“Jackie Loeb’s routine, accompanying herself on electric guitar, is delightfully wacky. She goes anywhere and everywhere, her inventive comic mind purring like a well-tuned engine.”  The Melbourne Age

“There is no denying, Jackie Loeb is one very funny lady.” Adelaide Advertiser

“Loeb is, literally, a laugh a minute, but pointedly so. If visual art, literature and music can serve as powerful and influential political, social and cultural commentary so can comedy. But only if it’s this well-conceived.” Australian Stage
