Our headliner Wendy Maybury is a Southern belle from the heart of Dixie who has taken the comedy world by storm. Wendy is a single mother who balances raising her kiddo with a successful stand-up comedy career. Her relatable experiences as a single parent, combined with her quick wit and Southern charm, have made her a hit with audiences everywhere. Whether she's sharing stories about her dating experiences or simply observing the world around her, Wendy's comedy is a mix of humor and heart that leaves audiences in stitches. Her debut comedy album "She's Not From Around Here" hit #1 on iTunes and Amazon. She is also the producer of "Day Drinking with Mom" a show that offers comedy, sympathy, and some drinks to help Moms relax and enjoy the roller coaster of parenting.

Our feature act is former International Falls resident Steve Windels, a professional wildlife biologist by day, stand-up comedian by night who gives a unique perspective on not just the mysteries of the animal kingdom but life in general as a middle-aged divorced dad trying to figure out where he fits on this goofy planet. He is also an actual expert on beaver biology, aka The Beaver Doctor, but he doesn’t think your little jokes are funny and he doesn’t want to talk about it so quit asking.
