Comedy on Elm Street: Brian Glowacki, Dave Rattigan, Jay Chanoine & Sam Pelletier

Comedy continues at the newly-renovated Elm Draught House Cinema, 35 Elm Street, Millbury MA on Saturday, March 29. It's a late show in a great, fun venue with a smart, savvy comedy audience. The show features the hilarious Brian Glowacki, Dave Rattigan, Jay Chanoine and Sam Pelletier.

Showtime is 9:30 and tickets are $20 in advance.

Brian Glowacki's playful style and originality have quickly taken him from a small-town class clown to a nationwide crowd favorite. Brian's likability on stage paired with sharp observations on life have quickly catapulted him into one of the nation's premier emerging talents. Brian is the national touring opener for comedian Bob Marley as well as headlining many clubs, theaters and festivals on his own. Notably he became the first independent, local comedian to headline the historic Wilbur Theatre in Boston.  "BGlow" has performed on the Funny or Die "Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival". He received "Best of Fest" honors at Burbank Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival and San Diego Comedy Festival.  He connects daily to his growing tribe on social media through short videos about his family and his travels.

Known for his dead-pan delivery and quick, dry wit, Dave Rattigan has performed in Ireland, Japan, at Fenway Park, The Cape Cod Melody Tent, South Shore Music Circus, a lumberyard, the lobby of an ad agency, a library, and several parking lots. “There’s nothing funny about the way he looks, until he gives that deadpan look of his,” popular blogger Ralph Fatello (RalphsPic.com) wrote. “His outward appearance is something out of a mature GQ magazine.  He looks like a cross between a semi hip banker, and your mild-mannered father-in-law …. Dave is the master of completely dismantling himself in front of a crowd of strangers.  I’m always torn as to whether I should console him, or just laugh my ass off like everyone else ….  You know they (comics) are hitting home when the audience starts to point at each other….”   His CD was played on SiriusXM and radio stations all over the U.S. and Ireland, and he has appeared in regional television commercials on NESN.

Jay Chanoine has released two albums, most recently 2019's The Texas Chanoinesaw Massacre, produced by Grammy winner Dan Schlissel for Stand Up! Records. It reached No. 1 on the Amazon comedy chart. Chanoine was recognized by New Hampshire Public Radio's Word of Mouth program as one of the top comics in the state, saying that "Jay has loads of talent. He's funny. He's got personality. And there's that feeling he might make something of this." New Hampshire weekly The Hippo called his comedy "edgy" and noted that Chanoine's favorite topics included "alt rock, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and his ability to fit into his wife’s clothes." He is featured in director Lisa Romagnoli's 2013 documentary Wicked Funny 2, an exploration of the New Hampshire comedy scene. Chanoine has toured frequently with Austin, Texas comic JT Habersaat, and performed with Kyle Kinane, Myq Kaplan and Sam Jay. He is a contributing writer for satirical website The Hard Times.

Sam Pelletier has been bringing his unique blend of observation and relatability to audiences for over a decade. Originally from the (somewhat) great state of Maine, Sam won the Cellar on Treadwell competition in 2023, and was a finalist in the New England’s Funniest Comedian Competition of 2021, placing in the top five out of over 100 contestants. He has opened for numerous national headline acts, including Shane Torres, Joe Bartnick, and Alex Edleman. Sam has been featured in the Boston Comedy Festival, the Maine Comedy Festival, and the Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival in San Francisco. His hobbies include hiking and being a good listener.
