Charlestown-born Steve Sweeney is a legendary Boston comedian known as a master of dialects and character voices. He has appeared in dozens of films, including the recently released film version of his successful one-man stage show Townie, a remembrance of his Charlestown upbringing and life as an actor and comedian. He’s done stand-up on Letterman and on Comedy Central and acted in many films including 2019’s Sweeney Killing Sweeney (in which he spoofed his own persona), as well as Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer, Rodney Dangerfield’s Back to School, The Farelly Brothers’ There’s Something About Mary and Me, Myself and Irene, and several others. He is a frequent guest on Boston radio and was host of the morning-drive Sweeney’s Neighborhood on WZLX (100.7 FM). With his famous Boston accent and great insight into human nature, Sweeney is so thoroughly Bostonian that he merits his own stop on the MBTA Green Line.
Will Smalley is a purveyor of the silly-arts and a dude-lover extraordinaire. As an established LGBTQ+ voice in the comedy scene, Will is a former finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and has been featured in the Bridgetown Comedy Festival in Portland, OR. In addition to being a mainstay at the major comedy clubs and colleges across the Northeast, Will serves as the announcer/producer for Old School Game Show.
Kathy Gilmour works in theaters around the country as the opening act for Karen Morgan. Before moving back to Boston, she was a resident comedian at Comedy Key West, headlined around Florida and performed at the Orlando Improv. She was picked to perform at the Flamingo, Brickell, Portland, and NY Underground comedy festivals. She has competed at the Massachusetts and New England’s Funniest competitions. Kathy has performed with Boston Comedy Festival and at the Hampton Beach Comedy festival. She currently performs all over New England. Audiences relate to her dry and awkward take on everyday situations. Her inspiration comes from working with the general public for more than 20 years, traveling the world and mostly the clarity that comes from a good nap. She would almost always rather be home on her couch with her dog.
Liam Hales is one of the biggest up-and-coming comics in the world right now...literally. A mountain of a man, he views the world through the lens of a ferocious Teddy Bear. He brings an infectious smile and energy with him to the stage and is comfortable in all venues, from bars to 1,000-seat auditoriums. His topics are wide and varied from his Viking ancestry, his love of science, and the folly of life as a Giant.
